Some Tips to Make Homemade Multicolored Candles
Making homemade candles can become a fun and also inexpensive craft that anyone can do. The first thing that you have to do is to decide the size of candles that you are going to make. After that, you need to assemble the molds that you are going to use and then you should prepare your wicks.
The second thing that you should do is to melt some of wax in the pour pot. In this step, you need to try to estimate the amount that you will need to part of the candles, but not the whole thing. After that, you can add your first favorite color to the wax. Moreover, if you are going to make a scented candle, you can add small amount of the scent to the layer.
After the wax is already melted and saturated with the color, the third thing that you have to do is to place the wick into the mold and then pour the wax. Then, you should wait until the wax cool and harden. While waiting, you can take your time for cleaning any left over colored wax from the pour pot.
Moreover, after the mold is already dry, the fourth thing that you need to do is to melt the wax for your next favorite color. Besides, you can also add any fragrance and color to the wax. Then, you can start to pour the next color into the candle mold and you need to wait until the wax cool. Just repeat these steps for the each color that you want to add to the candle.
Finally, when the candle is already complete, you should remove it from the mold. After that, you need to trim the wick for about a quarter inch and your candle is ready to burn.
