Fall Classes

Class Registration Procedure:
It is necessary to pre-register for all classes.  Payment must be made at sign-up to hold your space.  Supply lists for classes will be available at least one week before the class.  Any supplies purchased from Jamie’s Country Stitches expressly for class use will be discounted 15% (excludes books, kits and patterns).

Beginning Quilting

We welcome new quilters to our “Beginning Quilting” class. Over the 16 hour (8- 2 hr. classes) course you will learn fundamental quilting skills (rotary cutting, measuring, piecing, creating the "quilt sandwich", binding and many, many more) that will benefit your future in quilting. Bernina Software V5 Part 1 (of 3)

Start the Bernina software learning process with this editing class; work on design manipulation, lettering and monogramming techniques. Janine Babich, $40, one class.


Bernina Software V5 Part 2 (of 3)

Continue the Artista software learning process with design cataloging, digitizing and design creation. Turn artwork into stitches and create custom designs using the variety of digitizing tools available to you. Instructor: Janine Babich, $40, one class.


Bernina Software V5 Part 3 (of 3)

Fine tune your digitizing skills and discover the many craft stitches and fills available to you within the software. Learn to create your own machine appliqué designs, too. Instructor: Janine Babich, $40, one class.


“Blooming Steps” Scrap Therapy Quilt

Creating the Embossed Towel Design

Learn how to use your embroidery software in creating the embossed background and topping designs used in making the Embossed Towels: Instructor: Janine Babich, $15 (when combined with the Embossed Towel Class) or $30 by itself, one class.


ConKerr Cancer Charity Pillowcases

Join us in making fun, festive pillowcases for seriously ill children through the ConKerr Cancer, A Case for Smiles Project. Dig into your stash for fabrics sure to bring a smile and give comfort to a child in need; your class fee is a 1 ½ yards (continuous) of that smile rendering fabric.


Cutting Class Scrap Therapy
